The history of ARCHICA began with the holding of the first International Architectural Forum in 2015. Our goal was to create a communication platform for architects, designers, developers and other industry representatives. Previous events, such as the Astana Architecture forums in 2015 and 2016, the Innovation Week roadshow in 2018, have brought together leading specialists and became a point of contact for Kazakh and foreign architectural bureaus.

In 2023, ARCHICA Congress has returned with a new vision and expanded its focus. While maintaining contact with foreign countries, we chose to put more of a spotlight onto the architectural community of Central Asia, working closely with the unique challenges and issues in our locale. ARCHICA 2023: Central Asia discussed current trends in the region and its new place in the geopolitical and architectural map of the world, while the URBANICAS summit devoted itself to urban planning, sustainable development of cities and rural areas, as well as urban studies in Central Asia.
